Construction of three different playgrounds for the Topeka Rescue Mission has started.  There is still time to volunteer to help.  Just show up at the 601 NW Harrison address ready to help. We need volunteers Thursday-Saturday 10/27-10/29, we have shifts from 8a-12noon, 12:30-5p, and 5:30-9p. This is a construction site and we are working rain or shine. Please wear closed-toe shoes or boots and old clothing. We have snacks and meals provided for all volunteers. No need to pre-register, just come on down and help us treat a child who is homeless like royalty.
