Volunteers needed to host a booth for the Topeka Water Festival on September 17th at Garfield Community Center, 1600 NE Quincy Street, Topeka, Kansas 66608. We have two sessions from 9:00-11:30 and 12:00- 2:30.

This is a community wide festival where all 4th grade students in Shawnee County are invited to spend a day learning about the importance of water to life and move through various stations learning about the properties of water, the value of good clean potable water and the water cycle.  We will have two stations.  Students visit our stations “The Incredible Journey” and play a game about the water cycle.  Please email or talk to Marie Pyko if you are available for a two hour shift.  mpyko@tscpl.org  or 580-4560.  We need at least 3 volunteers for the morning session and 4 volunteers for the afternoon session.
