On January 29, 2011, Kasasofficially began a year-long celebration in recognition of its 150th year. The Downtown Topeka Rotary Club will participate in the Sesquicentennial Celebration. The club has launched the project with a Kansas Sesquicentennial license plate for Rotarians. The plates are availble for a suggested price of $20 with profits going towards Polio Plus. This is a WIN-WIN endeavor -- promote Rotary and help to eradicate polio worldwide. If you do not have your license plate yet, contact Anita Wolgast at: awolgast@cox.net.
